Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Service repairs and maintenance on a broad range of vehicles, including cars and ancillary equipment.
• Perform visual inspections, adjustments, fluid changes, and replacements of worn components.
• Strip, fit, and replace vehicle components efficiently.
• Ensure all jobs are completed within deadlines and to high standards.
• Maintain accurate report-keeping in compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Apply good health and safety practices at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage workload in the field.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading plant and vehicle fleet maintenance company for the position of mobile vehicle technician in the Maidstone area. The successful Mobile Vehicle Technician will work 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the foundation to work independently, servicing a diverse fleet across the Kent region.

Duties:

• Conducting service repairs and maintenance on a broad range of vehicles, including small to heavy vehicles, primarily cars and ancillary equipment
• Performing visual inspections, adjustments, fluid changes, and replacements of worn components such as brake linings
• Stripping, fitting, and replacing vehicle components efficiently
• Ensuring all jobs are completed within specified deadlines and to high standards
• Maintaining accurate report-keeping in compliance with legal and internal requirements
