Job summary

PPG is seeking a full-time, permanent role based in Huddersfield. The job involves order processing by phone and trade counter, colour matching and formulation, stock replenishment, and driving for site visits or deliveries. Training plans support personal growth and career development.

The position requires a Full UK Driving Licence (3 points max), excellent communication, and IT proficiency. You will work in a busy depot with 40 hours per week, weekday shifts, and 25 days holiday plus bank

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence essential (Maximum 3 points).
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to use IT equipment and complete required training programmes.
• Organised approach to work including daily route planning.
• Structured approach to tasks and ability to meet customer ETAs.
• Passion for delivering high quality customer service and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high accuracy when picking customer orders.
• Work across roles as required to support depot operations.
• Maintain efficiency and meet picking performance criteria.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and complete required training.
• Communicate effectively to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Coordinate deliveries and keep records up to date.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Report issues with goods or services to Branch management in a timely manner.
• Collect accurate payments from customers as advised by Branch management.
