Job summary

Air Products in Bardon depots is seeking a proactive PG Operator to safely control all depot filling activities. You will operate electrical motors, run pumps, handle cylinders, and support loading operations with a forklift while ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will complete documentation, perform cylinder inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment, under a strong safety and environmental stewardship ethos.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive Forklift trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operational or engineering experience in a high-safety environment.
• Can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Positive, energetic and proactive approach with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate depot filling activities safely, including pumps and cylinders.
• Load completed cylinders onto pallets and assist loading operations with a forklift.
• Complete process documentation accurately and legibly.
• Carry out cylinder inspection, cleaning, painting, labeling, and minor repairs.
• Maintain safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Report operational faults to minimise downtime.
