Job summary

Air Products is seeking a PG Operator at the Bardon depot in Leicestershire to safely manage all depot filling activities, operate pumps, handle cylinders and loading operations, and ensure quality compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will perform cylinder inspections, labeling, and minor repairs, maintain PPE usage, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Experience with forklift operation and a strong safety mindset are essential.

In this role, you will be responsible for safely controlling all depot filling activities, including operating electrical motors, running cryogenic and non-cryogenic pumps, moving and connecting cylinders to filling points, and loading completed cylinders onto pallets. You will also support loading operations through the safe use of a forklift truck, complete process documentation accurately and legibly, analyse both incoming and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications, and receive incoming product deliveries while carrying out conformity checks.
