Job summary

Air Products is seeking a PG Operator at the Bardon depot in Leicestershire to safely manage all depot filling activities, operate pumps, handle cylinders and loading operations, and ensure quality compliance in a fast-paced production environment.

You will perform cylinder inspections, labeling, and minor repairs, maintain PPE usage, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Experience with forklift operation and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive Forklift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operational or engineering experience within an industry that maintains high safety standards.
• Can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Positive, energetic, and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Operate depot systems safely to support daily production and distribution.
• Handle cylinders safely, including loading and unloading pallets and vehicles.
• Carry out cylinder inspection, cleaning, painting, and labelling as required.
• Maintain safe working practices and report unsafe conditions.
• Complete quality and process documentation accurately and timely.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety culture across the depot.
