Job summary

Trane Technologies in Southampton is seeking a Depot Operative for the Coldstore fleet. You will receive, offload and store equipment, maintain cold stores, and ensure accurate inventory in our Fawley Yard and Totton Depot.

You will clean, test, and prepare Hire Contract Equipment, update computer systems, and pick items per requests. The role requires safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to cover standby shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customer service principles.

• Commitment to Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and offload Hire Contract Equipment and store it in an organized manner.
• Clean, maintain and test cold stores and related ancillaries.
• Clean, maintain and test Hire Equipment and related ancillaries.
• Update computer systems and track inventory numbers.
• Accurately pick hire contracts based on requests from fulfilment managers.
• Uphold quality standards of our brands during picking and loading.
