Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Depot Operative - Coldstores to maintain and test the cold store fleet, dispatch and receive equipment at our Fawley Yard and Totton Depot. This on-site role involves organizing storage, updating systems, and ensuring timely fulfillment of hire contracts.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety and quality, supported by a structured induction and benefits package. Forklift experience is advantageous and UK working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
• Effective communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using a PC and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Receive and offload Hire Contract Equipment and store it properly.
• Clean, maintain and test cold stores and related ancillaries following SOPs.
• Clean, maintain and test Hire Equipment and related ancillaries at Totton Depot.
• Update computer systems and track inventory numbers.
• Accurately pick hire contracts per fulfilment requests.
• Uphold quality standards during picking and loading.
