Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, seeks an experienced Depot Operations Manager for the Northants/Leicester depot. You will oversee day-to-day depot operations, lead the Customer Service team and drivers, and drive profitability while ensuring safety and compliance.

This role requires flexible hours plus a driving licence and occasional travel to other depots. You will work closely with the RSOM to deliver customer excellence and manage budgets, with a focus on service standards

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a leadership role.
• Experience managing depot operations and KPI delivery.
• Understanding of P&L and budgeting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage driving team and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure Health & Safety, Hygiene and Food Safety compliance.
• Manage resources to meet profitability and service standards.
• Maintain stock to meet customer demand.
• Lead and coach staff to improve engagement and performance.
• Deploy contract KPIs and drive performance to meet targets.
• Deliver customer service excellence and client standards.
