Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an Operations Manager for our Washington depot to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient delivery of services. You will direct operational teams, manage resources and drive productivity while maintaining high safety standards.

Role requires strong leadership, planning skills and a solid understanding of health and safety policies, with Monday–Friday hours and a £43k salary guide. Join a national utility services provider committed to excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience.
• Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Experience in maximizing productivity and asset utilisation.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities and teams.
• Manage staff training records and scheduling.
• Monitor workload, timesheets, absences and holidays.
• Maintain depot and fleet compliance and safety.
• Lead toolbox talks and inductions.
