Job summary

Speedy Hire in Warrington is seeking a Depot Engineer to join our workshop team. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with flexible hours and job shares considered to support work-life balance.

You will service and repair a range of equipment, from generators to compressors, using good computer skills and clear communication to keep the fleet ready for customers. Training, career progression and employee benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Valid full driving licence is essential.
• Experience maintaining and repairing similar equipment.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to work alone under pressure or as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to hours and duties.
• Support ESG initiatives and Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair equipment, including generators and compressors, as assigned.
• Maintain fleet readiness and assist with daily operations and diagnostics.
