Job summary

Serval is seeking a Deployment Success Manager to own customer outcomes after deployment, ensuring value compounds into adoption, expansion, and renewal. You will be the customers’ primary technical partner, resolving issues, deepening usage, and advocating needs internally.

You’ll not only manage success but build it—writing code, shipping fixes, and creating systems that enable scalable, world-class support for more customers without linear headcount growth.

Qualifications

• Startup experience in a customer-facing or technical role.
• Strong ability to read and troubleshoot production code in customer-facing environments.
• Eagerness to build, writing code and automation to create scalable systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Instinct for retention, adoption, and expansion with high agency in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Own customer success and support: be the primary technical resource post-sale.
• Drive renewals and expansion by turning adoption into growth opportunities.
• Build scalable support systems, tooling, and playbooks to handle more customers.
• Ship production code changes to fix bugs and add features for customers.
• Lead training and documentation to help customers derive full value from Serval.
