A Deployment Engineer to own container deployment for every client of a vendor whose trading platform runs live, regulated venues. You'll turn each release into a repeatable OpenShift or Kubernetes deployment, prove it internally, then take it live with the client's own engineers. Nobody owns this yet, and you'll sit in design sessions before the code gets written.
Your work here gets used in production, at live trading venues. This business, around 150 to 250 people, builds the core trading platform its clients run their markets on. It has since added a full set of containerised operations tools on top, and live clients are already taking them. Nobody owns getting those tools deployed yet. You will. You'll join a small, senior delivery team of Linux engineers who have spent their careers in high-frequency trading.
Deployment, from release notes to live. A DevOps team runs the CI platform, and once a platform is live, ops handles the tickets. Everything in between is yours.
The broader technical team uses OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker and Podman, RHEL and Rocky Linux, Git, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible and AWS. You must be eligible to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Base up to £100,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus on company and individual performance. A strong employer pension contribution, private medical, life cover and income protection. Holiday grows the longer you stay, and parental leave is well above market. A nursery scheme and an EV salary sacrifice scheme come on top. Hybrid, three days a week in the London office.
A CV review, then a screening call with me. If it's a fit, I'll make the Candidate Submission, followed by an intro with the hiring manager, a technical interview and a final onsite. I'll share the client name once we've had a confidential conversation.
