Job summary

Ocean Red is seeking a Deployment Engineer in the UK to own container deployments for live trading venues, turning releases into repeatable deployments and shaping deployment tooling with the operations and engineering teams.

You will write platform-native deployment scripts for OpenShift/Kubernetes, work on pre-go-live validation, then collaborate with client engineers on site or remotely until go-live, and participate in design sessions to settle load balancing, failover and certificates.

Qualifications

• Deployed multi-service containerised apps on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux administration and TLS/mTLS troubleshooting.
• Outstanding client-facing communication and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Own container deployment for each client and release.
• Write platform-native deployment scripts; prove on pre-go-live systems.
• Work with client engineers on site or remotely until live.
• Participate in design sessions to settle load balancing, failover and certificates.
• Collaborate with ops after go-live; join a senior delivery team of Linux engineers.
