Methods seeks an experienced Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to support and modernise enterprise container platforms in a secure defence environment. The role combines on-premise, hosted, and secure infrastructure with hybrid working in Bristol or Milton Keynes.
You will assess OpenShift environments, resolve platform and runtime issues, enhance automation, and ensure resilience and operational readiness while supporting Java/Tomcat runtimes from a platform perspective.
We are seeking an experienced Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer to support and modernise enterprise container platforms hosting business-critical applications within a secure defence environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on OpenShift platform support, container management, deployment automation, runtime engineering, vulnerability remediation, monitoring, operational resilience and technical troubleshooting.
The successful candidate will work closely with client and supplier teams to assess existing environments, resolve technical issues, improve operational stability and support future platform evolution. The role is expected to involve a mixture of on-premise, hosted and secure infrastructure environments rather than purely public cloud platforms.
