Job summary

Lisburn Dental Centre in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, is seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join the friendly front-of-house team. You will ensure a welcoming and smooth patient journey from first enquiry through to treatment.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with opportunities for training and development, plus a pension and employee dental benefits. You’ll work with our clinicians to coordinate appointments and payments.

Qualifications

• Previous dental reception experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident, friendly and professional with patients.
• Organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment.
• Good IT skills and comfortable using dental software.
• Proactive approach and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Sales or treatment coordination experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service.
• Managing appointments, diaries, patient records and payments.
• Answering telephone and online enquiries.
• Converting enquiries into appointments where appropriate.
• Discussing treatment options, finance and membership plans confidently.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team.
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the reception area.
• Promoting practice services and membership plans.
• Supporting patient engagement and practice marketing initiatives.
