Job summary

Dental Beauty Partners in Lee is seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our friendly private/mixed practice. You will manage front desk tasks, greet patients, answer calls, and schedule appointments using Dentally, ensuring smooth patient flow.

The position offers permanent, full-time hours with a competitive hourly rate, and full training on our systems. A supportive team environment and opportunities for progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Ideally 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist in private or mixed practice.
• Experience in front-of-house, customer service, or medical coordinator roles acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality reception and administration services for patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
• Answer calls and handle patient inquiries professionally and warmly.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage diaries using the practice software Dentally.
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue outstanding balances.
• Ensure compliance with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR.

Dental Beauty Partners are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist to join us at our lovely mixed practice, Dental Beauty Lee. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a vibrant and family-orientated practice & nursing team in the South East London area.

You will be joining a fantastic team of clinicians and support staff, led by our Partner Dr. Sorabh Patel, who all work together in harmony to deliver a brilliant patient journey. The practice is very accessible via public transport, within close walking distance of Lee train station.

Hours

Monday: 8:30am-7:30pm
Tuesday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm
Full-time hours available if preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a high-quality reception and administration service to ensure patient satisfaction & maximum contribution to practice efficiency
• Answering the telephone and dealing with patient enquiries in a positive, efficient and friendly manner, with a focus on going the extra mile
• Schedule patient appointments in accordance & effectively managing the diaries of our clinical team; all through our software system, Dentally
• Collect and record patient payments and pursue any debts in accordance with the practice payments policy
• To ensure compliances with DBP Information Governance Policy and GDPR

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist, within a private or mixed practice
• If no Dentistry experience, then a background within a front of house, customer service or medical coordinator role
• Dentally software experience is preferred but not essential
• Ensuring CQC requirements are met at all times
• Experience in providing exceptional patient care/customer service
