Job summary

Middlesbrough College is seeking a Tutor / Assessor – Dental Nurse to manage a caseload of Dental Nurse apprentices and deliver teaching, learning and assessment. You will work with employers and learners to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for successful qualifications and career progression.

The role supports part-time, permanent employment with a salary of £15,230–£18,201 per annum and 18.5 hours per week, plus generous annual leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified dental nurse with caseload experience.
• Pedagogy and assessment skills for apprenticeship delivery.
• Willingness to work towards teaching and assessing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of learners and support timely progress.
• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment activities.
• Conduct enrolments, inductions and initial assessments with personalised plans.
• Carry out progress reviews and provide feedback with interventions.
• Build strong relationships with employers and monitor workplace learning.
