Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in dental nursing or hospital setting.
• Recognised Dental Nurse Qualification and GDC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) and commitment to professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgery including equipment, instruments and materials for clinics.
• Attend to patients with clinicians and supervise post-treatment care.
• Liaise with reception and answer calls in clinical areas.
• Assist at chair-side and act as a chaperone to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Transfer patients to X-Ray and maintain infection control standards.
• Keep accurate treatment records and ensure confidentiality.
• Undertake stock control and maintain surgery equipment and consumables.
• Participate in Clinical Governance and CPD activities.
