Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking experienced Dental Nurses to support insourcing surgical lists across West London, helping to deliver NHS waiting list initiatives. The Dental Nurse will provide clinical and administrative support to dentists and oral/maxillofacial surgeons during surgical and dental procedures, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and high-quality care.

The role involves supporting patient care pathways, chairside assistance, maintaining infection prevention and control

Qualifications

• GDC registered Dental Nurse with a relevant qualification.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Recent NHS Dental Nursing experience with at least 12 months in a substantive NHS role.
• Recent hands-on experience in oral surgery and/or tooth extractions.
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and control and GDC standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside and clerical support to dentists, oral surgeons and clinical teams.

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Dental Nurses to support insourcing surgical lists across West London, helping to deliver NHS waiting list initiatives. The Dental Nurse will provide clinical and administrative support to dentists and oral/maxillofacial surgeons during surgical and dental procedures, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and high-quality care.

The role will involve supporting patient care pathways, providing chairside assistance, maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control, and assisting with surgical procedures including tooth extractions.
