Job summary

18 Week Support in West London is seeking an experienced Dental Nurse to insource surgical lists and support NHS waiting list initiatives. The successful candidate will provide chairside and administrative support to dentists and surgeons, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Key duties include preparing patients and rooms, assisting with extractions and oral procedures, and maintaining infection control standards. GDC registration and NHS experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• GDC registered Dental Nurse with a relevant dental nursing qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
• Recent NHS Dental Nursing experience, including at least 12 months in a substantive NHS role.
• Recent hands-on experience in oral surgery and/or tooth extractions.
• Experience working within a dental, oral surgery or maxillofacial setting.
• Good knowledge of infection prevention and control and GDC standards.

Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Dental Nurses to support insourcing surgical lists across West London, helping to deliver NHS waiting list initiatives. The Dental Nurse will provide clinical and administrative support to dentists and oral/maxillofacial surgeons during surgical and dental procedures, ensuring patients receive safe, effective and high-quality care.

The role will involve supporting patient care pathways, providing chairside assistance, maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control, and assisting with surgical procedures including tooth extractions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced clinical team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
