Job summary

Daylesford Stays in the Cotswolds is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join The Fox team. You’ll craft pizzas and a range of dishes, learning under our experienced chefs and contributing to a high-quality, seasonal dining experience that guests return for.

This 48-hour-per-week role offers a base salary of £33,000 plus gratuities and service charge, with an expected OTE of £39,000 per annum. Evening and weekend work is required, and you will grow your skills in a vibrant, supportive kitchen.

About The Role

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie who’s eager to learn, develop their skills, and interested in being part of our exciting journey as we continue to expand our delicious and in-demand pizzas.

If you have a passion for great food, a love for pizza, and a willingness to grow under the guidance of experienced chefs, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, learn the art of crafting exceptional pizzas, and contribute to a team that values creativity and quality.

Preferred Skills & Expertise

• Previous experience working in a service kitchen, preferably in a well-respected fresh food establishment.
• Interest in learning how to operate a wood fired oven, so as to deliver a controlled cooking environment.
• Flexibility, your working week will include evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• The on target earning potential for this role is £39,000 per annum based on a 48-hour contract - comprising a base salary of £33,000, plus a qualified estimate of £6,000 in gratuities and service charge.

About Gratuities And Service Charge

Gratuities are paid on a pro rata basis. It is estimated that in 2026 full-time employees can expect to receive in the region of £6,000 in addition to their annual salary.
