Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. This is a key role for a chef who is ready to take the next step in their culinary career by taking ownership of a section, supporting senior chefs, and ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-end environment where precision, teamwork, and passion for food are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in running a specific section of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, following LPM’s recipes and plating guidelines.
  • Oversee and guide Commis Chefs, ensuring they develop their skills and perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen station.
  • Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and prepared in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Support smooth kitchen operations during service, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team.
  • Participate actively in training and development sessions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Solid knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
  • A genuine passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team-player mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
