Job summary

Alzheimer Scotland is recruiting a Community Connections Co-ordinator to set up, deliver and evaluate person-centred activities and support groups for people living with dementia and their carers. You will work in local hubs or centres, predominantly as part of a two-person team, creating welcoming environments that promote wellbeing and social connection.

We are seeking someone creative, organised and flexible, with strong communication and empathy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with people with dementia is beneficial.
• Full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Set up, deliver and evaluate a range of activities and support groups for people living with dementia and their carers.
• Create inclusive and welcoming environments that promote wellbeing, independence and social connection.
• Build strong local partnerships to increase awareness and participation.
• Work predominantly as part of a two-person team.
