Job summary

Jewish Care is seeking a Community Dementia Assistant to coordinate and deliver dementia programmes across a defined area, with a focus on inclusion and responsive services. You will build trusted relationships with people living with dementia and their families, offering information, practical support and signposting.

• Experience in a community setting and with volunteers.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with people living with dementia and their families.
• Willingness to travel to support across hubs and areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver community dementia programmes to ensure inclusivity.
• Build relationships with people living with dementia and their families.
• Support day-to-day delivery, monitor attendance and feedback.
• Coordinate volunteers and signpost where appropriate.
• Collaborate with synagogues, community organisations and health professionals.
