CrossReach is recruiting a Care Worker at Cameron House in Inverness to support up to 30 residents living with dementia. You will provide practical and personal care, assist with daily routines, meals and mobility, and help residents stay as independent as possible.

No prior experience is required. We will support you to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and you must meet PVG and SSSC requirements. You’ll work as part of a caring team in a Christian ethos environment.

Qualifications

• You’ll enjoy working with people, communicate clearly and bring patience, kindness and a thoughtful approach to supporting others.
• No previous care experience is required; we’ll support you to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• PVG scheme, SSSC registration and UK work entitlement are required.

Responsabilités

• Support people with personal care, daily routines and everyday activities.
• Assist with meals, mobility and other practical needs.
• Encourage independence and help people make choices about their daily lives.
• Build positive relationships and offer reassurance when needed.
• Follow individual care plans and maintain clear, accurate records.
• Recognise changes in people’s needs and share important information with colleagues.
