Job summary

CrossReach in Elderslie, Scotland, is seeking a Care Worker to support residents, including those living with dementia. You will provide practical and personal care, get to know the people you care for, and help them stay active, independent and dignified in a warm, welcoming environment.

No previous care experience is required. You will be supported to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, and you must meet PVG and SSSC registration requirements.

Qualifications

• You'll enjoy working with people, communicate clearly and bring patience, kindness and a thoughtful approach to supporting others.
• You'll take time to listen and adapt your approach to different needs and preferences.
• No previous experience in care required; you’ll be supported to work towards SVQ Level 3 as part of your development.
• You'll need to meet PVG and SSSC registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, daily routines and everyday activities.
