Tegfan Resource Centre in Aberdare is seeking a 35 Hour Care Worker to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily living activities, personal care and social engagement, following individual care plans and safeguarding guidance.

We value reliability, good communication and teamwork, with Welsh language training provided. The role includes completing the AWIF induction and QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with DBS paid and registration with Social Care Wales.

Qualifications

• Reliability and good communication are essential.
• Experience with older people or dementia is an asset.
• Welsh language basics are helpful; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living and personal care.
• Follow care plans and safeguarding policies at all times.
• Provide social contact and emotional support to residents.
• Attend training and progress AWIF and QCF Level 2.
