Job summary

The Royal British Legion invites applications for Care Supervisor (Days) at Dunkirk Memorial House. We seek compassionate, experienced leaders to guide care teams and ensure high‑quality, person‑centred dementia care.

The role includes developing care plans and engaging residents and families in decisions, with a focus on wellbeing and safety. Two contracts are available: full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (25 hours).

Qualifications

• Educated to Level 3 Diploma in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
• Medication administration experience.
• Experience working with external health professionals and care planning.
• Previous experience in a Care Home with older people or adult social care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
• Prepare comprehensive care plans that promote wellbeing and reflect residents' choices.
• Engage residents and families to participate in care decisions and daily activities.
• Support the home’s dementia pathway and promote meaningful occupation for residents.
