Qualifications

• Practical experience of working in dementia care and creating advanced care plans.
• Knowledge of care standards and the drive to keep or meet and ‘outstanding’ CQC level
• Empathy and clear, concise communication skills are needed
• Ability to develop meaningful activities for residents

Responsibilities

• Residential Care - Plans, develops and organises the operation of the Dementia Community.
• Compliance - Ensures dementia community meets all CQC standards and assists with compliance documents.
• People Skills - Delivers training to the team and coordinates activities with the Lifestyles team.
• Financial Management - Supports budget use for the dementia community and understands costs of dementia care.
• Family Service - Communicates with families, GPs, and other agencies for care review meetings.
