Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support residents with Dementia and other health conditions in Tonypandy, Wales. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living tasks, and contribute to care plans in nursing and residential homes.

Flexible day, night, and weekend shifts are available, with competitive hourly pay (£14.24–£28.48). A minimum of 6 months in healthcare or social care and right to work in the UK are required; training for manual handling is provided.

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 months experience in healthcare or social care.
Experience with manual handling equipment in a live environment (training provided).
Right to work in the UK.
Ability to deliver holistic and therapeutic care to people with dementia.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to residents in nursing and residential homes.
Use manual handling equipment safely and effectively.
Assist in implementing individual care and treatment plans.
Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
