Coniston House Care Home is seeking a passionate Activity Coordinator to develop a varied programme of activities for residents, focusing on dementia-friendly, person-centred experiences. You will work with the care team to plan arts and crafts, music, reminiscence, outings and seasonal events, tailoring sessions to individual interests and abilities while managing resources and schedules.

• Experience supporting people with dementia.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Creative mindset and ability to plan diverse activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate a programme of recreational activities tailored to service users' social, physical and mental needs.
• Provide opportunities for social interaction and emotional support through group and one-to-one activities.
• Maintain records of activities and communicate plans to the team.
