Job summary

HelloFresh in the United Kingdom is seeking a Demand Planner to drive data-informed forecasting for European markets. You’ll work hands-on with SQL, build dashboards, validate forecasts, and learn how demand planning guides procurement, production, and logistics in a fast-paced supply chain.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or analytics in e-commerce/ FMCG is a plus
• Strong technical skills in SQL, Excel, PowerBI (or Tableau); Python is a plus
• Familiarity with forecasting concepts like MAPE, bias, and their impact on operations
• Curiosity in forecasting with limited historical data and techniques like proxy data
• Awareness of demand and supply risks and mitigations
• Experience using Jira/Confluence for task tracking

Responsibilities

• Validate day-to-day demand data pipelines and QA for forecast reliability
• Build automated alerting for data quality issues and forecast anomalies
• Investigate discrepancies between forecast and actuals and document root causes
• Write and maintain SQL to extract and validate demand data across cloud platforms
• Support development and refinement of forecasting models under guidance
• Create dashboards and automated reports with Tableau/PowerBI for KPIs like accuracy and waste
• Work with forecast engineers to ensure scalable pipelines and local market nuances
• Leverage AI tools to speed up SQL queries and data summarisation
• Generate daily and weekly demand plans for European markets and monitor KPIs
• Participate in weekly S&OP, preparing materials for leadership meetings
• Incorporate promotions from Marketing into the demand view and perform root-cause analysis when deviations occur
