Demand Planner

We’re working with a leading consumer goods business that operates across multiple sales channels, supplying fresh products to customers nationwide. As part of continued growth, they’re looking for a Demand Planner to join their collaborative and fast‑moving planning team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior demand planning or forecasting experience who’s looking to develop in a hands‑on, commercially focused role. You’ll work closely with teams across supply chain, operations, and commercial to ensure accurate forecasts, effective stock management, and excellent product availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple channels, factoring in promotional activity, product launches, and seasonal trends
  • Monitor performance against key KPIs including availability, waste, and forecast accuracy
  • Work closely with procurement and production to ensure material and capacity planning align with demand requirements
  • Support the launch and transition of new products, ensuring smooth forecasting and supply continuity
  • Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Produce clear and actionable insight reports to share with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain coordination, ideally within a fast‑paced consumer products or manufacturing environment
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Power Query is an advantage
  • Confident working with large data sets and translating information into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across teams
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A proactive problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver results
