Job summary

Vertical Advantage Ltd in London is seeking a Demand Planner for a fast-paced FMCG environment behind a globally recognised consumer brand. You will own forecasts, drive forecasting accuracy, and support supply chain performance.

The role involves contributing to the monthly S&OP, analyzing sales trends, promotions, and market demand, and collaborating with commercial and operations teams to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience within Demand Planning.
• Experience contributing to or leading S&OP processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience using ERP/planning systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage demand forecasts across multiple product categories
• Play a key role in the monthly S&OP process, providing insight and challenge where needed
• Analyse sales trends, promotional activity, and market demand to improve forecast accuracy
• Identify potential supply and inventory risks, proactively recommending solutions
• Maintain forecasting data and planning parameters within ERP/planning systems
• Collaborate closely with commercial, supply chain, and operational teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across forecasting and planning processes
• Track forecast performance and provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders
