Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking a Delivery Team Leader to drive efficient operations in our Delivery Centre/Hub, ensuring safety and delivering excellent service to customers, colleagues and stakeholders. You will support depot management to achieve KPIs and targets while promoting a performance culture.

The ideal candidate will have broad logistics experience, CPC qualifications, and proven leadership in a B2C multi-drop environment, with strong planning, problem-solving and relationship-building

Responsibilities

• Own all transport elements of customer service, meeting or exceeding satisfaction targets.
• Manage vehicle routing applications (e.g., Paragon) for optimal results.
• Monitor and deliver against KPIs for transport compliance, accident management, cost, and productivity.
• Coordinate daily activity scheduling and ensure effective asset management.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
• Ensure health and safety policies and legislation are adhered to at all times.
• Support depot management in achieving all targets and objectives.

Delivery Team Leader

About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Team Leader to join our team. You will play a key role in driving an efficient and successful delivery service from our Delivery Centre or Hub, ensuring a safe working environment for all while delivering excellent customer, colleague, and stakeholder experiences. You will support the wider depot management team in achieving and exceeding all KPI targets and objectives.

• Previous leadership experience in a B2C multi-drop, multi-temperature environment.

• Ability to map and improve end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Highly organised with exceptional planning and prioritisation skills.
• Strategic problem-solving ability and confident decision-making.
• Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service and satisfaction.
• Commercially focused and committed to achieving targets.
