About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee the daily operations of a busy delivery department, leading drivers and pickers, motivating the team to meet targets. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying consistent management approaches.
• Communicate important management information to relevant team members.
• Maintain a safe working environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health & safety concerns.
• Promote and uphold the brand image through product knowledge and excellent customer service, ensuring company guidelines are followed.
• Assist the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with legal standards.
• Supervise, plan, and coordinate tasks to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport setting.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Management CPC qualification would be advantageous.
