About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will oversee the daily operations of a busy delivery department, leading drivers and pickers, motivating the team to meet targets. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, applying consistent management approaches.
• Communicating important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervising and maintaining a safe environment for colleagues and customers, reporting health and safety concerns.
• Promoting the brand through product knowledge, customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Supporting the delivery manager to ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
• Planning and coordinating tasks to ensure timely completion.

You will need

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in warehouse or transport environments.
• Experience working in a customer-focused setting.
• Management CPC qualification is advantageous.
