Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for a busy delivery operation in Coventry CV7. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring accurate scanning, sorting and dispatch of parcels while driving KPI performance.

This fast-paced role requires strong communication, a proactive hands-on approach and flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, with shifts 14:00-23:00 and immediate start. Temp to perm after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Previous Team Leader or supervisory experience.
• Experience within a warehouse, logistics, fulfilment or delivery environment.
• Experience managing or leading a team; comfortable working to targets and KPIs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Hands-on and proactive approach.
• Flexibility to work different days, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives
• Monitor team and driver performance
• Ensure parcels are scanned, sorted and dispatched correctly
• Support dispatch and returns operations
• Help achieve daily operational KPIs and targets
• Coach and motivate team members
• Deal with operational issues and escalate when required
• Investigate and resolve customer issues
• Communicate effectively with warehouse teams, drivers and management
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
