Warehouse Team Leader (Delivery Station Team Leader)

Location: Exeter (EX2)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Full Time – 40 Hours per Week

Rate: £13.42 per hour

Shift Pattern

5 out of 7 days- 06:00-15:00 (Shift to be confirmed on first shift)

Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join their busy delivery station in Exeter. Working within a fast‑paced picking and packing distribution centre, you will support the day‑to‑day operation, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and high standards across the warehouse.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on team leader with proven experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of warehouse operatives.
• Ensure picking, packing, and dispatch targets are achieved.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and accuracy.
• Motivate, coach, and support team members to achieve operational goals.
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Resolve day‑to‑day operational issues and elevate where required.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the warehouse.

• Essential: Previous team management experience within a warehouse, distribution, fulfilment, or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven operation.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Please note that this is a full time, temp-perm role (after 12 successful weeks). You must be able to work 40 hours per week and be willing to commit to a long term, permanent role.
