Job summary

JD.COM INTERNATIONAL UK LTD is seeking a Delivery Station Supervisor in Norwich to oversee daily operations, lead a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, and ensure timely processing and dispatch of packages while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will manage inbound/outbound flows, monitor performance against metrics, implement procedures, and present reports to management. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a logistics, warehousing, or delivery operation.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes including sorting, scanning, and dispatching.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in using WMS and other relevant software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safety and quality with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and improve workflow.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of package movement and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (e.g., logistics, customer service) and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present performance reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the delivery station.
