Job summary

Tesco is seeking an Administration Clerk within the Distribution Centre team to support delivery service operations. You will handle clerical tasks, process queries from stores, and manage handovers to incoming clerks to ensure smooth operations.

In this role you will maintain logs, run reports, and support drivers with their schedules while escalating issues as needed to ensure safety and compliance across the DC network.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support to colleagues and Managers by handing over information to oncoming clerks and responding to queries from stores or Distribution Direct.
• Manning the Goods Out desk, issuing drivers their work and conducting pre-briefs/de-briefs, and escalating route or time issues to the Delivery Service Duty Manager.
• Collating, recording and reporting information for a safe, efficient Delivery Service operation and maintaining accurate systems.
• Liaising with Tesco, agencies and 3rd parties and completing admin checks in line with policy to track people information and performance.
