Job summary

Tesco Distribution Centre in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable clerical assistant to provide administrative support within the Delivery Service function. You will help ensure availability and standards of product through accurate data logging, reports, and driver coordination.

Daily tasks include handovers to clerks, answering phones, maintaining systems and trackers, and liaising with Tesco teams, agencies and drivers to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to colleagues and managers within Delivery Service
• Hand over to oncoming clerks with all relevant information
• Answer phones and log/store queries, prepare and send reports
• Manage Goods Out desk, assign driver duties and briefings
• Conduct de-briefs and escalate route or time discrepancies
• Maintain accurate systems and trackers for performance reporting
• Liaise with Tesco operations, agencies and third parties
• Perform administrative checks in line with policies and procedures
• Offer friendly, confidential admin support across Delivery Service
