Job summary

Croda is seeking a Delivery Manager / Product Owner to drive delivery of our digital marketing and website solutions. You will translate business priorities into a clear backlog and coordinate work from requirements through testing, release and adoption.

The role requires experience in website or digital delivery, managing engineers and testers, and strong stakeholder communication. This is a hybrid role with travel to Cowick as required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Delivery Manager, Product Owner or equivalent in website or digital delivery.
• Experience managing engineers and testers, including workload planning and performance management.
• Understanding of website delivery, digital marketing platforms and iterative delivery.
• Ability to translate marketing and user needs into backlog items and acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier planning and change management experience.
• Experience coordinating testing, release readiness and post-release support.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to explain technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise customer-facing website backlog based on value and delivery capacity.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and testers with clear objectives and accountability.
• Act as Product Owner for CrodaOn and related website improvements with clear requirements.
• Manage website support, incidents, requests and improvement opportunities.
• Engage Digital Marketing and regional leads to understand campaign and market needs.
• Create delivery plans and coordinate web technology teams and suppliers through design, build and release.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experienceas a Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Digital Product Manager or equivalent inwebsite or digital delivery.
• Demonstrable experience directly managing engineersand testers, including workload planning, objective setting, coaching,professional development and performance management.
• An understanding of website delivery, digitalmarketing platforms, content-led experiences, support processes and iterativedelivery methods.
• The ability to translate marketing, business anduser needs into prioritised backlog items, acceptance criteria and practicaldelivery plans.
• Strong stakeholder, supplier, planning andorganisational skills, with experience managing support and change activity inparallel.
• Experience coordinating testing, release readiness,adoption and post-release support for website or digital platform changes.
• Clear written and verbal communication, analyticalproblem solving and the ability to explain technical topics in businesslanguage.
• Degree-level education or equivalent experience indigital, marketing, business, technology, product or delivery.
• Desirable: Relevant product ownership, digital delivery, business analysis,agile or service management training, and experience in chemical ormanufacturing industries.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own and prioritise the customer-facing website solutions backlog based on business value, user needs, risk and delivery capacity.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and testers, setting clear objectives, allocating work, coaching team members and building a culture of accountability, collaboration, quality and continuous improvement.
• Act as Product Owner for CrodaOn and related website improvements, defining clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and outcomes.
• Manage website support and ticket triage, ensuring incidents, requests and improvement opportunities are progressed effectively.
• Engage Digital Marketing, Business Excellence and regional leads to understand campaign, content, functionality and market-sector needs.
• Create delivery plans and coordinate web technology teams, IT, digital agencies and suppliers through design, build, testing and release.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints affecting website stability, user experience or delivery timelines.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, release readiness, training input, handover and post-release support.
• Maintain clear backlog, decision, release and status records, communicating progress, risks and benefits to stakeholders.
• Use service data, user feedback and recurring ticket themes to identify improvements and inform the roadmap for customer-facing websites.
• Work with architecture, security and technology teams to ensure customer facing solutions remain supportable, secure and aligned to Croda’s technology strategy, identifying technical debt and incorporating them into the roadmap.
• You will play an important role in embedding asafety culture where people look out for one another, feel able to speak up,and work together to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues,communities and the environment.
