Vario is a market-leading provider of alternative legal services within the law firm Pinsent Masons. It is a unique entity in the legal sector, comprising practice groups in Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management, and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role is within our MLS team.

As the Vario team expands, we are recruiting a Delivery Manager on a 10-month fixed-term contract to support our MLS Delivery teams in providing a world-class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. The role involves engaging with various sectors and groups, focusing on the development and pastoral care of our legal delivery teams. The successful candidate will:

1. Line manage a team of paralegals dedicated to delivering work to lawyers and external clients, including supervision, training, development, and management of direct reports.
2. Supervise the delivery of legal services to end users.
3. Support service delivery management on engagements as required, including resource planning, quality assurance, output/efficiency reviews, and progress reporting.
4. Continuously develop delivery models to ensure best-in-class service.
5. Build effective working relationships across relevant practice groups and sectors.
6. Collaborate with Resource Management to allocate work effectively and monitor capacity and workload levels.

Our standard working hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, but we are open to flexible working requests.

Please note, this role will be within our Disputes team.
