Job Details

What will you be doing?

Working within our CRM Services team, you will lead two cross-functional engineering teams to deliver and support our CRM platforms using DevOps principles. You will be adept at delivering complex IT change and removing barriers to delivery, creating an environment where the team can succeed. You will coach team members, facilitate continuous improvement, and apply suitable agile and DevOps techniques to focus on delivering value aligned with the product or transformation vision.

The Delivery Manager will oversee all line management responsibilities, leading high-performing, motivated teams with engaged and excited members about their outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to develop and communicate roadmaps and shared visions effectively.

Key Points of the Role
DevOps Delivery
  • Accountable for delivering change and products using agile and DevOps principles through cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for delivery practices, output quality, and providing estimates and forecasts during the delivery lifecycle.
  • Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of roadmaps, acting as Scrum Master.
  • Identify capacity and skill needs based on roadmaps and plan accordingly.
Line Management
  • Manage all team members, including contractors, ensuring role clarity, regular feedback, and aligned objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and create an environment conducive to individual success.
Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure team engagement in ongoing learning and apply lessons learned to improve performance.
  • Participate in the Delivery Manager community to share best practices.
Tools and Environment
  • Identify and ensure the availability of necessary tools and environments.
Management Information & Stakeholder Management
  • Provide regular performance reports and manage relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
What would we like from you?
  • Scrum Master certification or relevant experience.
  • Strong technical background to understand and challenge project plans and issues.
  • Progression through a hands-on engineering career.
  • Experience managing multiple engineering teams, especially with Salesforce, Change, and Release Management in a cloud environment.
  • Ability to manage priorities and ambiguity.
  • Experience mentoring technical staff and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with senior stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in delivering IT change within a payments organization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Product Ownership approaches.
