The Role

The Delivery Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the Senior Operations Manager to lead and drive a regional operational team to achieve performance, growth, quality, and compliance objectives in line with contractual agreements and P&L requirements. The Role

The Delivery Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the Senior Operations Manager to lead and drive a regional operational team to achieve performance, growth, quality, and compliance objectives in line with contractual agreements and P&L requirements. Inspiring others through leadership skills to enhance team and participant positive outcomes.

Salary: £45,000 + £4,200 car allowance + £500 annual retail vouchers

Location: Candidates based in the Northwest of England are encouraged to apply. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel across the Northwest region, including Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Crewe, Macclesfield, and Skelmersdale. Occasional UK travel for meetings may be required, with travel expenses covered by the business.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Support the development and implementation of the organisation’s service delivery strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, commissioner requirements, and participant needs.
  2. Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations of service delivery, ensuring programmes meet contractual expectations, are within budget, and uphold quality standards.
  3. Team Leadership and Management: Lead, manage, and support a team of Performance Managers, providing coaching and professional development.
  4. Performance Management: Set and monitor KPIs, addressing underperformance proactively.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and service enhancement.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with funders, authorities, employers, and community organisations.
  7. Budget Management: Collaborate on budget planning and resource allocation.
  8. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to contractual, legal, and quality standards.
  9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery.
  10. Reporting and Evaluation: Provide performance reports and insights for strategic decisions.
  11. Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, funding sources, and partnerships.
