Job summary

Anson McCade is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join a leading consulting and technology organisation. You will own technology delivery across large-scale programmes, managing delivery plans, teams and dependencies in both public and private sector contexts.

You will translate complex technical concepts into business terms, implement delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement, delivering Agile at scale within modern DevOps-enabled environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technology delivery, project delivery or software delivery environments.
• Experience leading multiple critical client projects and delivery plans.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and best practice.
• Experience delivering Agile at scale across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business information.
• Experience designing delivery metrics and reporting.
• Experience managing delivery risks, issues and dependencies.
• Experience using Agile delivery tools including JIRA.
• Experience in DevOps delivery operating models.

Job description

We are seeking experienced Delivery Lead to join a leading consulting and technology organisation, supporting large-scale technology transformation programmes across public and private sector clients.

You'll take ownership of technology delivery, managing critical client projects, delivery plans, teams, dependencies and continuous improvement activities across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple critical client projects.
• Develop and manage short, medium and long-term delivery plans across multiple workstreams.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage delivery against agreed objectives.
• Manage delivery risks, issues, dependencies and competing priorities.
• Translate complex technical information and concepts into business and operational-focused information.
• Design and implement delivery metrics, measurement and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve software delivery and own the implementation of improvement activities.
• Deliver Agile at scale across multidisciplinary teams.
• Work within modern delivery operating models, including DevOps.
• Use JIRA and other Agile delivery tools to support delivery tracking and reporting.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

• Agile certifications.
• Extensive experience with JIRA and other Agile delivery tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working within a consulting, systems integration or professional services environment.
• Experience delivering technology services within public or private sector environments.
