Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join the client's Tax Admin team, overseeing a varied portfolio of change across a large, business-critical service. You will work alongside Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters and technical specialists to ensure delivery is on time and to quality standards within a complex delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong governance, planning and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with resource planning, forecasting and capacity management.
• Able to prioritise demands and balance value and capacity.
• Experience stakeholder management with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Public sector experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of the project deliveries from initiation through to implementation.
• Create and maintain delivery plans, forecasts and governance artefacts.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
• Provide clear reporting and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, test, architecture, business analysis and Scrum Master functions.
• Lead resource planning and forecasting activities, ensuring delivery commitments remain achievable and risks are identified early.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritise demand, balancing available capacity against business priorities and delivery commitments.
• Ensure releases are delivered in line with agreed milestones and governance controls.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and ways of working.
• Support and mentor junior delivery colleagues where appropriate.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Lead to join the clients team within Tax Admin. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of Delivery Leads, Scrum Masters and technical specialists to oversee the delivery of a varied portfolio of change across one of the clients largest and most business-critical services. The role requires a proactive self-starter who can establish effective delivery controls, manage stakeholder expectations, balance competing priorities and ensure work is delivered to agreed timelines and quality standards within a complex delivery environment.

• Experienced in stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills.
• Experience working within Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
• Public sector experience desirable but not essential.
• Experience of Jira, Confluence and similar delivery management tooling desirable.
