Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking a Delivery Driver to serve customers around Weybridge and surrounding areas. You will be on the road in the evenings and weekends, delivering quality groceries with paid breaks and a base hourly rate that rises with premiums to around £13.75 per hour on average.

The role includes DBS checks, training support, and a strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction. An enhanced benefits package is available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Full UK or EU driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months driving experience
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years
• Must be over 18 for deliveries involving alcohol

• Deliver groceries and household items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Interact with customers to provide quality service and resolve basic queries.

So what do we need from you?

You don't need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest! But you will need the following Driving Licence Requirements:

• Full UK or EU driving licence


• Minimum of 12 months driving experience


• Maximum of 6 penalty points


• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years


• Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS). Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start!

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract: Your contracted workweek is 40 hours, which will be scheduled as five 8-hour days within a seven day period. Shifts: AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:30 in the morning, and can finish as late as 12:00 (midnight). Please check your commute time, and transport options, prior to applying for this position.

You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Hourly Pay Rates:

• Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate) £13.28


• Evening Premium (from 6pm) £1.12


• Sunday Day Premium £1.33


• Sunday Evening Premium £2.56


• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Day Shift) £16.60


• Overtime rate Monday to Saturday (Evening Shift) £18.00
