Job summary

LWC Drinks Leyland is seeking a reliable Van Driver/Driver's Mate to join our Warehouse & Distribution team. The role blends driving duties with warehouse support, ensuring safe, professional deliveries and accurate stock handling.

You will work a flexible schedule across delivery and warehouse tasks, maintaining high customer service standards. After probation, a pro-rated annual bonus of £2,000 is available, reflecting performance and length of service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across warehouse, driver's mate and driving duties.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in preparing the vehicle and performing daily vehicle checks.
• Load products safely and accurately for delivery according to documentation.
• Assist with deliveries to customers ensuring correct and professional handover.
• Support with route planning using run sheets and customer requirements.
• Complete delivery documentation including proof of delivery where applicable.
